Family Day Care
There is no legislative requirement for Family Day Care centres that provide food to children in their care to have written Food Safety Program in place. However as registered food business, they need to comply with food safety legislation.
It may be challenging to understand what legislation asks from Family Day Care owners in terms of application of Food Standards Code. We have developed Food Safety Procedures for Family Day Care owners to help them understand and implement their legal obligations.
